Do you offer free estimates/quotations?
Yes. SOCAD Installations Ltd offers free estimates and quotations; we may offer this verbally or in writing. A viewing of the job may be needed first, which is something we’ll arrange with you at the time of your call/email.
SOCAD Installations Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reject any free estimate or viewing at any time as long as a good reason is provided with plenty of notice.
What happens if I can’t keep my appointment/viewing?
If for whatever reason you can’t keep your arranged appointment or viewing, you must tell us 3 hours prior to the time agreed, unless we advise you otherwise.
If you do not tell us, a small chargeable fee may be incurred by yourself to cover any time wasted.
Will I have to wait in all day for an electrician?
No. SOCAD Installations Ltd will arrange a suitable time for all parties involved; we aim to give specific time slots and will inform you of any cancellation in good notice.
I have a fault with my electrics, how much will it cost to fix?
Unfortunately SOCAD Installations Ltd cannot give an estimate/quote before investigating in more detail. This is mainly because we do not know the severity of the problem. We will however, provide you with an hourly cost to investigate and depending on if the problem can be fixed, a follow up estimate/quote to rectify.
Do you provide labour only estimates/quotes?
Yes we do. However, SOCAD Installations Ltd cannot be responsible for any faulty good’s or the unforeseen extra time it takes to install products supplied by the customer/client.
Can you provide materials?
Yes. SOCAD Installations Ltd can provide materials.
Do you guarantee materials that you provide and install?
Manufacturer’s guarantee is standard on all items SOCAD Installations Ltd supplies; unless we can see they have been tampered with.
My wall need’s to be channelled out for a new cable – Will you repair this?
SOCAD Installations Ltd are not responsible for any repairs to decorations, unless a signed contract has been completed by yourselves and us. We will always on every case – explain what damage (if any) will be created.
What is your invoicing policy?
After estimating/quoting an acceptance letter containing terms and conditions will be sent out, ready for you to sign. On completion of work, payment must be received by SOCAD Installations Ltd within 7 days, unless a contract has been signed by all parties stating otherwise.
Do you carry out work on large commercial contracted projects?

What locations do you cover?
SOCAD Installations Ltd mainly covers the areas of East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey and London.
However, for larger scale projects arrangement’s can be made to travel further.
